SureCrete’s SCR™ is a concentrated concrete cleaner, degreaser, and etcher which is a safe alternative to muriatic acid for driveways, sidewalks, pool decks, and patios. In addition to its uses on natural surfaces, SureCrete’s SCR™ is a premier chemical surface preparation solution for decorative cement products. The combination of an etcher and cleaner makes it an ideal application before applying concrete overlays, stains, and acrylic sealers. The etching process will open up the pores allowing for an increase in adhesion and absorption of cement overlays acrylic sealers and paints. SCR is excellent on thin overlays (such as SureSpray, SureTex, SureBroom, and Micro Topping) and stamped overlays before the application of reactive acid stains, water-based stains, dyes, and Eco-Stain. SCR™ will open the pores of the concrete and cement-based overlays aiding concrete coloring systems like reactive acids, water-based stains, and dyes. In addition, it assists in delivering a higher bond strength to exterior concrete acrylic sealers. Its multi-function, environmentally-friendly properties include cleaning and preparing:
Step 1. Depending on the surface you intend to clean, dilute cleaner to as much as four parts water to 1 part cleaner
Step 2. Dampen concrete surface prior to application of concrete remover cleaner.
Step 3. Apply mixed cleaner evenly across the cement surface with a pump-up sprayer, being careful to maintain a wet surface.
Step 4. While the cement surface is still wet, work cleaner into the surface using a nylon bristle broom.
Step 5. Before the concrete cleaner can dry, rinse the concrete surface with a hose or power washer and make sure all residue has been removed.
Step 1. Dilute SCR™ 2:1 with water
Step 2. Dampen concrete with water from mist of pump-up sprayer or a garden hose trigger nozzle.
Step 3. Apply evenly 2:1* diluted product across the surface of the concrete. Best results are achieved by spraying from an acid-resistant pump-up
sprayer.
Step 4. While still wet with product, rub concrete with a black pad on a rotational floor machine
Step 5. Keep the floor wet with frequent rinsing.
Step 6. Mop residue until rinse water is clear or utilize water extraction equipment.
Step 1. Dilute S.C.R. 4:1 with water (4 parts water to 1 part SCR™)
Step 2. Dampen stamping tools or molds with water from mist of the pump-up sprayer or sponge.
Step 3. Spray 4:1 diluted product from an acid-resistant pump-up sprayer onto tools or molds.
Step 4. While still wet with SCR, gently brush surface with a stiff bristle brush.
Step 5. Before Super Concrete Renovator dries, completely rinse surface.
